Costing 0 'points'īiological Caste System: the 'social' hierarchy of this species is written into their genes, each has their place and it would be foolish to say otherwise POPs have their own happiness and Ethos, but can only have caste system' citizen rights and will always have 100%(+200% for the trait bonus?) tolerance of slavery for their own species regardless of their Ethos. Unlike machine minds which get something from conquering planets or normal empire's who gain a new workforce.Īll you get is cleaning up vermin or geneticly modifying said vermin into more bodies for you.But the Hive Mind being an ethos made me think that maybe we could get a deeper variety of them: there would be a scale of 4 "Mental Structure" Ethoses that you would have to mandatorally pick one of to determine what kind of species you are: Unless you are a devour swarm or into canabalism i would suggest avoiding getting other life forms on your planets. Hive minds need genetic ascasion 2 in order to intergrate other organic's and have no use for robots. You need to make yourself likeable to avoid needless war. Unless you want to go full devouring swarm and fight everyone remember that you are unliked. While -30 is easy to bribe away if you dont spend some time bribing your neighbore's they will attack you for merely existing. It isnt cost effective so dont colonize something that is too costly to maintain. Hive minds still suffer from red habbility. Increase resourses gathering and making it unliveable for anything but your drones.Īs a hive mind your every though shoud be: How do i growth even bigger. These are the best of the 3 world upgrade's(better then machine and corosant worlds) Ow sure you could move drones to new worlds but after you 10 planet you rather not deal with the hassel. No need to get more drones on a minning world when you reach the required worker requirement. Use population control once a world reach its purpose. Remember that your drones dont have preference's. Hive minds dont have strata so you dont need to worry about umemployment when downgrading a job. I had entire worlds be nothing but district and the housing and maintiance depost to support them. The hive mind more then any other faction benifit from mass district(due to there 3 jobs per district) Red shoud be done after you can gene mod your drones to suit there environment.īuild gathering worlds and production worlds. ![]() You want to get every little bit of pop growth you can on as many planets as you can afford.Īvoid colonizing anything red(too costly) but yellow is perfectly fine for hive minds. You have several growth buildings and you get 3 jobs(but only 2 houses) per district. ![]() Pop growth is what hive minds shoud focus on. This in combination with hive mind and the extra food buff from policy(which is 33% for hive minds) will increase your pop growth to 5.2 at the very start of the game. ![]()
